Paul is an email-native executive scheduling assistant for Gmail and Google Calendar. A verified account owner adds Paul to an email thread and writes a natural-language scheduling request. Paul uses the thread context, the owner's connected calendar, and the owner's saved availability to coordinate the request.

## Primary use case

Paul removes routine scheduling coordination from the account owner's workload while keeping the conversation in email. The product is intentionally focused on scheduling rather than acting as a general-purpose assistant.

## How a user starts

1. The user creates an account with Google.
2. The user connects the Gmail identity associated with Google Calendar.
3. The user confirms a time zone, working availability, minimum notice, default meeting duration, scheduling horizon, and meeting buffer.
4. The user adds `paul@ccpaul.com` to the To or CC field of an email thread.
5. The user writes a normal scheduling request.
6. Paul interprets the request, replies in the email thread, and updates the calendar only when authorized and sufficiently clear.
